Review on πŸ‘“ VUF-110 Wearable Display by Vufine by Girish Underwood

It's useful, but not for the reason you might think.

Well I've been playing Vufine for a few days now and I have mixed feelings. First, it's useless if you use it with thin-rimmed glasses. Even with the included thin frame brace, the Vufine is too heavy. The mount kept falling off. To make matters worse, it was extremely uncomfortable and you have to constantly adjust your glasses due to the extra weight. I have a hat mount on the way that should fix this problem, but it's still a shame it doesn't work right out of the box. So it's a bummer. But on good things that might surprise you. With the supplied glasses, the mount works really well! They don't slide off your face like normal script glasses (at least in my case). It's nice not having to look at the field monitor, but always having a small screen in view. It takes a little getting used to, but will certainly come in handy when I'm making videos with my Ronin. The BEST use I've found with Vufine so far has surprised me. For photo! Heck, if you're trying to take photos in odd positions and don't want to use the rear LCD screen, it's literally like having a small electronic viewfinder in front of your eyes the entire time. To be honest, it's so good with my A7Riii that I can go out and shoot and not even have to rely on the EVF or the rear LCD. That's all. Shit for prescription glasses, good for video and great for photography in tricky positions/places. It's overpriced in my opinion, but I'll keep mine for the benefit mentioned above.
