This replacement band is the closest thing to an OEM band I've found and I've tried many. The rubber material feels very similar, if not identical, to the original factory strap material. With other replacement bands, the silicone material attracts lint and dust; On them, the texture is smoother (almost waxy) than the real thing. It's also slightly stiffer than silicone. The fit and finish is also first class. The clasp is painted metal, not plastic like the original. After a week there was some scuffing on the metal and I'm sure the paint will continue to scratch and wear over time - I don't mind too much. Not shown in the picture, mine came with strap holders - unlike the original where the strap holder was a wide, smooth plastic loop that could either slide over the clasp (for added security) or securely hold the loose end of the strap. The protection on these is narrower and has an interior/underneath cut-out that fits into one of the open holes in the harness and prevents the protection from slipping. This is great for securing the free end of the strap, but doesn't allow you to attach the retainer to the clasp itself. Again a small difference that doesn't seem too problematic since the clasp seems to be very secure.
