Just to qualify my profile - I do it mostly for FUN and education but I do get a few small jobs from time to time. Anyway, I finally got the chance to experience it for the Church myself. Party "Football Championship" 04.02.18. I took about 200 shots in 3 hours. As these are the 250W versions I expected that they would either not produce enough light or that I would have to push them to the limit to provide enough light. My assumptions were wrong. I left the power levels at 3.8 for Key and 3 for Fill. (Max Power 6.0) and shots through 33-inch white see-through umbrellas. My environment was a large indoor gym with 25 foot ceilings (no reflectivity). The gym lighting was dim enough to accommodate a large projection screen for gaming, resulting in very little supportive ambient light. All photos were taken at f5.0, ISO 100, 1/200. I am very, very satisfied with the value for money "minus": The documentation/support seems to be a bit thin on this model. The included documents are obviously translated into Chinese, so some specifications are a little unclear, especially in relation to accessory compatibility. There are very few YouTube reviews/videos on the Neewer website or even any information about this model on the Neewer website. (N-250w). A few Amazon reviews mostly have how-to documentation locked away (I think that's my contribution). I wanted a longer reflector and cover to protect the modeling light in storage. was a complicated exercise to find ng through amazon reviews. Apparently you need to get a "universal for Bowens" moonlight mount then you can mount Bowens compatible hardware to the light. I haven't tried this, but I'm open to suggestions from others who have had success. A little disappointing as most other Neewer products are 'inspired' by other big brands and tend to take their compatibility out of the box. Again, I'm open to hearing about this experience from others. So, for those who hesitate due to a lack of information, fear not. Have gotten good value for money from them so far. hp Don't laugh at the creases in the background - I know it shows I'm an amateur. Didn't have much time to steam them before guests lined up to take photos :)
