Budget results from a budget heart rate monitor?

I am a fitness professional who has personally used the Polar rs300x to track my workouts for the past two years. I decided to look for another heart rate monitor for my clients and didn't want to spend a lot of money. The Pyle PHRM38GR had all the features I was looking for; custom settings, average and maximum heart rate and calories burned. For the price I thought it would be a steal if it worked. When the package arrived and I opened it I thought the build quality didn't look good. The watch is a little big and cheaply made so I started to worry about my purchase. When I put the bracelet on, the watch immediately picked up the signal. The second thought was slightly more positive than the first. As I sat there the display showed a normal heart rate, I even compared it to the Polar at the same time. I then sat there for an hour to see how many calories I would burn. A number was displayed on the polar but not on the stack. Then I got up and started walking and he started counting some calories. I didn't quite understand what was going on, but I started to worry again. Then came the real test when I wore the HRM during training. Pyle displayed the maximum and average heart rate, like training with a polar sensor. Both HRMs also showed the same calories burned. I've tested the Pyle side-by-side several times, and every time it's almost kept up with the Polar. Pyle seems to start counting calories as soon as you reach any point, I suppose 50% of your max heart rate, since anything below that isn't really exercise, Pyle really is a steal for a cheap and accurate heart rate monitor. Monitor for use on clients. All client session results were as I expected, so despite the rather poor and cheap looks it works correctly. If you have a few bucks more I recommend the Pyle PHRM32, I bought this after using the PHRM38GR and it has a much better build quality as well as the same features and more. If your budget is $25 or less, then this HRM is what you need.
