As a quilter, seamstress and seamstress, my granddaughter needs an iron that heats, steams well, doesn't leak or spatter. It's not like this. The first thing I noticed was that my melt fleece wasn't sticky. I've found that the iron shuts off after 10-15 seconds in a horizontal position even after lifting and pressing new areas while following the mfg. directions, resulting in cooling of the iron and lack of adhesion. It was then paused further while I was stroking the footage on my big board. Again, I kept moving the iron, but it turned off and began to cool. Raising the iron to a vertical position will reset the iron and restart the heating process. Picking up the iron every few seconds is annoying as hell!
