Most Useful Bike Tools

I wanted to spend some time on the bike maintenance kit to see how different tools work. Specialist. While the combination saves time pulling out individual allen keys, most make them difficult or impossible to use in some tight spaces. However, where there is space, the large handle provides enough torque to loosen or tighten. However, this is not a complete replacement for a quality set of Allen keys. The blue spoke wrench is for 14g (3.35mm) spokes, which is the right size for 2 out of 5 of my bikes. It's lightweight where it fits and easy to see the work area as the wrench is easy to grip and small so you can see and feel minor adjustments. I will need another wrench like this for my other 3 bikes. On the other hand, a 2 11g and 14g 8 spoke wrench looks a bit odd, and the sizes aren't always in ascending order. This is a bulky tool and you need to make sure you use the right size or a few hundred mm will rip your nipples off. It's harder to position the tool so you can see what you're turning, but you can feel the leverage and how far you're turning. At the mount, the end of the blade is smooth, without roughness. However, with the hook end, I'm afraid of pinching and piercing the inner tubes. I only use plastic tire levers that come together as a set as it usually takes at least 2 irons to remove a tire. Having 1 alone isn't very useful until you've already removed the bead and lifted the bead just around the rim. The spoke tension meter is a good tool. I'm not sure if it's fully calibrated. But if it's relatively constant, then it's reliable. The only problem I have is that I can see exactly where the pointer is on the measuring scale. Other brands have a triangular dot so you can see the sensor markings clearly. However, this tool is good for lacing the needles to ensure there is enough tension and not over tightening. Therefore, relative and sequential measurements are sufficient for this tool instead of manually compressing the spokes. In general, most of the parts in the set are useful for weekend warriors. But hardly anything for serious enthusiasts and professionals.
