For me, flogging the camera almost always distracts from capturing the moment. Most people are much less comfortable when the camera flash kicks in. This camera starts up quickly, has image stabilization and is easy to carry. Macro mode is the icing on the cake. I've been looking for a good, affordable light for months, found this model and was happy to work with it for half a year. Now, as I have used it for many more months I will add to the review. I also really appreciate the quick start, the quality of the pictures without flash. And I found the macro mode very useful. When I return to my desktop, I can bring up images of labels, small parts, etc. Instead of notes and drawings, I have much better photographic writing. found one.
