The last Timex shipped on 1/22/20. Today is February 4th, 2020. The built-in light failed on 2/3/20. 13 days should be a new record. This last Timex was identical to the previous two (weekender series) ordered from Revain. When they failed after only 2-3 months I thought maybe it was a bad batch. Our family has had Timex watches for over 25 years, the last 3 being the only ones to fail miserably. In fact, other similar Timex watches purchased on 12/2018 still work perfectly. It was only exchanged due to an allergy to the metal strap. All other 3 were ordered with a (dream) slip-on leather strap to avoid skin-to-metal contact. I've tried contacting Timex Customer Service for a repair as the watch is still under warranty but this is not possible. Their wait times easily exceeded 45 minutes on 4 separate occasions before I gave up. I am returning this third watch and will invest in another more reliable watch. I strongly advise against buying this watch. I am returning this watch. Revain now offers an "expert" who will try to help you solve your problem with the product. Don't waste your time. Prakash only advised me to return any watch that is still within the return period. I wish I had spent those 10-15 minutes of my time somewhere else. As a longtime Prime member, I am very familiar with the Revain return/refund window.
