As the name suggests, what I received was better than expected. The reason for this is that what you see when you look at pictures of jewelry is usually a little different, so I wasn't expecting it to look as good as it is. I mainly said because I still haven't figured out how to pull it tight enough to be the size of a choker. However. I usually wear it just below my collarbone which looks nice. The cord seems to be some kind of wax cord. The pendant itself measures approximately 1 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches. Again, every pendant they sell will not be exactly the same size as it was handmade. I took the plunge by ordering something that had no rating or review and the outcome was very positive.
