Effortlessly carries cakes

I use it to transport fruit and nut tarts to events. I make 9 inch cakes and I can put both cakes in the bag as advertised and they don't shift when I drive. (However, if you're only carrying one cake in the lower tier, it will have more slack and be able to move around a bit.) There is a raised locking ring on the bottom of the holder, which helps as the bottom of the holder is slightly larger than the 9- inch circle plate. The domed top has enough room for two double crust pies or maybe a double crust pie and a meringue pie. The side latches feel very secure and engage with an audible click. I don't rely on the handle and prefer a floor-supporting safety due to the weight (pyrex pie pans loaded with rhubarb pie are actually pretty heavy), but the handle didn't really feel like removing or handing it. Update: Still great as of July 2016. Bonus Feature: If you're only transporting one cake, you can leave the lid down, taking up less space.
