Review on Sharpet Battery Powered 6ft LED String Lights - Warm White Fairy Lights with 30 Tiny Bright Bulbs on a 1.8M Flexible Silver-coated Copper Wire by Ashley Belehar

I'm not sure if I received a bad set of these lamps or if the positive reviews are fake but I do regret the money I spent on them. I have bought many rice lantern sets from a retail store and they are of inferior quality compared to them. First, the wire is wound into a bundle, one end of which is tied around the bundle. The battery was attached by the knotted end, so I had to spend 20 minutes carefully pulling the wire through the knot to unwrap it. The light quality is not the same as in the photo. It's a harsh, unpleasant, bluish color, similar to an old fluorescent light bulb. As soon as I turned on the light (batteries not included), the wire section where the battery connects to the wire got hot. The plastic coating melted and the wire came loose. I really hate taking trash to landfill, but I'm afraid that's where it ends up.
