Incredibly clear, natural sound reproduction across the spectrum. Vocals are frighteningly realistic on good recordings. I'm hearing details in voices and musical instruments I've been hearing for DECADES that I didn't even know existed. These headphones are characterized by a NATURAL (real) sound reproduction. Wood isn't just an image, it's a symbol of (or perhaps responsible for) the "wooden acoustic concert hall" sound they deliver. like many others, but seems to have no attenuation between hitting the headphones and the origin of the sound; That said, movement on the cord (or something like clothing) will cause a pretty loud vibration when listening at low volume. 2) The way they fit in my ear canals is different from others. At first I thought it was a problem, but it turned out to be a really good feature. I pushed them through to get a good seal, but the seal didn't seem to form around them. I've found that you only need to slide them into the ear canal lightly and just a tiny bit to get a soft and comfortable, but effective fit (unlike some earbuds that you kind of stick in and close tight). Line mic which I think is a bonus but haven't found a use for it yet. I consider the headphones themselves only as a listening device. Great sound: efficient and very clean - make it pretty loud if you want, but let me say one thing: if you want powerful bass in your rap or dubstep, buy it. Beats headphones or similar. This is for those who want to hear ALL the music and its wonderful nuances at low to medium volume. Good acoustic or acoustic/electric live performances come to life! Wood isn't just about looks; It feels like the sound is in a perfect acoustic wood chamber. But there is a problem with the cable. I will update if I find a fix for this and see other reviews as these cute earbuds are really worth the time and effort to get them "right" for me. The FOUR AND A HALF STAR rating is decent due to the great sound, but doesn't deliver a perfect 5th vibration due to the cable interrupting listening. It looks like this can be easily fixed; I just hope this doesn't mean making the cable (which is somehow textured or woven) cheaper to make it quieter. All in all I would buy another pair, especially for $25 - and probably will.
