So for a toy camera for kids it's not that bad, our kids love taking photos and playing little video games with it. You probably like it more than the camera, frankly. But they are quite well versed in the operation. It's all done via the keyboard and isn't immediately intuitive, but the power button toggles on/off with a long press and cycles through a menu level with a short press. Image quality was pretty bad on 9 out of 10 or more photos they took. A lot of this can be attributed to the kid not holding the camera steady, so obviously you need to teach that technique. But the only decent photos I was able to take were in very good light and with a steady hand, and they were still pretty grainy. There are some better ones that are a bit easier to use, but for a cheap entry-level camera you'll probably find the camera more enjoyable than the results. The other was the videotape. The sound quality was so terrible it was almost inaudible. Mostly static. And the video was choppy. So don't expect much there.
