I bought this cat brush toy because it was the only one I found that actually screwed into the base (it comes with a hex nut that holds in the screw end of the brush). I like that idea because I didn't want the brush to pop out. I made the mistake of sprinkling it with catnip to get my cats interested. That just made them play with it rather than use it as a brush. Now that the catnip has worn off, my cats are using it as a brush and they really like it. I highly recommend buying this product.
