Advertised with an aluminum body which is important for open radiant heating systems or hot water circulation as it will not rust. The whole pump is cast iron, weighs a ton, the magnet sticks to all parts of the pump body. It also came loose in a box that was not factory sealed, obviously a previously returned item.
