Works well for low power devices but heats up

It seems to work well for reading SD cards, flash drives and simple devices like wireless mouse adapters. However, it does get very hot with just the Logitech wireless mouse adapter plugged in, reaching up to 47C, meaning it draws quite a bit of power from the laptop.
