I bought this to combine my shavers and trimmers. The main reason I picked this item was because somewhere on the product page it said the trimmer heads can extend up to 15mm. My current trims end at 9mm, so I was thrilled with this one. Unfortunately, it's only about 6mm, meaning it doesn't really work for my main purpose. I also bought this to replace a Braun 3 Series razor which my youngest child damaged and was terribly scratchy as a result. This razor shaves fairly well and glides across my skin fairly smoothly. The downside is that I used my previous razor to shave my neck and keep my cleavage clean. This razor is terrible for that. I have to use trimmers all the time to keep my beard from riding down the back of my neck. What this razor does well earned it 3 stars, but its shortcomings keep me from recommending it.
