This simple yet beautiful shower curtain is the perfect addition to my 1920's home. I recently installed a new bathroom/environment and purchased this new curtain, liner, rod and hooks. I was hoping for more transparency but it doesn't darken the bathroom at all so it's ok even though my shower room doesn't have windows. I really like its charming look in this very small bathroom - typical 1920's; but I could see it complementing many other decors as well. Although I've only been using it for a short time, the quality of this curtain looks very good and I expect it will last for many years. I particularly liked the fact that it looks and feels like fabric - compared to other blends that are more like polyester than cotton - and that's one of the reasons for this purchase. I also bought it because of the claims that it's mildew resistant and machine washable/dryer safe - but if it's machine washable it probably won't get moldy anyway - but either way, both claims were important to me. when I made the decision to buy this shower curtain. When I first took it out of the box I particularly appreciated the tumble dry indication - it had a few creases/creases as expected - but a few minutes on the crease iron program on a delicate/low heat - and they were gone and it looked perfect for the first use!
