Fairly thin tool box. It's nice and big and all, but it really looks like a toy or a sewing kit or something. It doesn't hold up and barely closes because the plastic is so flimsy and flimsy that it bends to the side and doesn't close smoothly. I have to move it and so on. I wouldn't buy it again, that's for sure. I used to have cheap plastic tool boxes and they were much better than this one. I'm pretty disappointed, but not that bad. It's just a plastic tool box. This will definitely be a short-term thing if you use it on real instruments. Much luck!
