Despite reading many other reviews I was still very surprised at how much these socks helped me. I've been wearing orthotics in my shoes all day for about 20 years. I have had brief episodes of heel pain from time to time and an orthopedic injection has always helped. However, I did something else in May while moving which led to a recurrence of plantar fasciitis pain in a heel. The pain was very severe, shooting from the heel through the leg at times. I was limping in the late morning and had to sit with my leg up in the evening. Walking was incredibly painful. I went to the orthopedist for vaccinations 3 times a month. Each time the pain subsided for a few days, but as soon as I had to stand for more than a few hours, the pain would return just as badly as before. I've been through a lot of Advil. I bought a pair of these in November thinking I wasn't losing anything at the price. The pressure in the arch and heel from the toe felt good right away. But the most amazing thing was that by the end of the day I was only in a little pain. Every day I felt a little better until I was completely pain free. I wear a sock on my right foot every day, from the moment I put it on until I go to bed. I even bought a second pair so I always have a clean sock. They are easy to wash and dry quickly. I am more than happy. Would recommend to anyone with heel pain.
