It's actually a "diamond weave" that looks a lot more luxurious. However, the fiber content does not match the product description. It is described as 45% cotton, 45% modal and 10% polyester. However, the labels on both robes clearly indicate that they are made of 40% cotton, 45% modal and 15% polyester. This is very important to me because I spend a lot of time in my bathrobe, smoke and the occasional ash kills the polyester. I may return a second one and continue to buy a quality 100% cotton shawl collar bathrobe. . However, I know my options are limited. I really don't want a heavy bulky cotton terry or thin thin denim.
