So I bought this lamp and got a very good impression of it, enough to buy a second one as a gift. Unfortunately, 4 months after the end of the warranty period (16 months of ownership), my lamp completely died, did not turn on at all. Customer service is a complete disaster taking TWO WEEKS between each email exchange resulting in them just telling me that the warranty has expired and I'm out of luck. If the power supply or individual components fail, BenQ does not sell individual replacement parts. Absolutely not recommended. 2 stars for poor long-term quality and unhelpful customer service.
