Review on Maximizing Hay Consumption: Discover the Freedom Feeder Extended Day Slow Feed Hay Net by Lalaine Fernandez

I bought this to try and rescue a 21 year old Standardbred. The mesh material is nice and soft. This size is a little smaller than I expected and I can't fit a full size ball in it, the only reason for the 4 stars. I couldn't find the actual overall size of this necklace in the description to help, so initially I just bought one to try and then had to buy another, mainly because of the size. The description says 6 hay flakes, I can only fit about 4 hay flakes without trying to fill it up. (I wonder if the packaging got mixed up and maybe I got an all day mesh instead of a 2 day size.) Now I use one in the morning and the second is ready to feed in the evening. This worked fine for me. I bought 1.5 inch holes and my horse can pull hay through them. I live in Northeast Pennsylvania and as the colder temperatures have mixed with his saliva the mesh freezes a bit which I think could be an issue with any mesh used. By the 2nd it was still thawed by the next feeding. Other reviews said the net ripped while both of mine are holding up well.
