About the Skirt: Kid Nation's red and white ruffle skirt is super cute and has fitted shorts underneath. I'm happy to report that the red stripes didn't come off when I washed the skirt. Red is still red and white is still white. About the fit: My 8 year old usually wears an 8 or 10 depending on how the clothes are made. I ordered a large size according to the recommended sizes and it fit her perfectly. size seems to fit. Conclusion: My daughter loves this skirt and that is the most important thing.
