I bought these necklaces with pendants for my daughter's 8th birthday. They were packaged very well and the chains were very light silver. I figured I might need to adjust the adapter rings to fit through the charms and fit perfectly under my jewelry pliers. They looked amazing with pendants and the girls loved them! Unfortunately one of the chains broke at the party. It was near the jump ring and I was able to fix it fairly easily. The next day and a few more days later I received requests for repairs as the chains on most of the necklaces were breaking. I knew the chains were cheap but I wasn't expecting this level of fragility. I suspect they are better suited for older children or adults. I would say avoid party favors and look for something more permanent. The first picture is a chain on a pendant. The chain is broken in the second photo. The links are so small that it is incredibly difficult to restore them. A chain I was repairing broke the next day as I couldn't close the link as I had hoped. My daughter has worn necklaces from a wide variety of stores and price points. This is the first of my experiences that breaks so easily.
