Technically, this system can do everything and more. I have an Arlo security system and it's good at close range, but not as good farther than my door; Faces are particularly difficult to see. Oh, and my car's drives were robbed and I didn't have a 24/7 security system to catch the thieves. So I did a little research and came to the conclusion that this is the system to use. The picture quality is excellent, just what I needed. The software and usability can take some serious work, so hopefully the company will work on that, but other than that, it's an insane bang for the buck - the options below cost $700 and up. One of my cameras recently started going haywire so I called her for assistance. They were very helpful and when it was decided that the current camera was indeed defective they provided me with a replacement camera. Good service. Guys, you've become regular customers. Keep it up! I recommend this to anyone who needs something with high resolution and 24/7 operation. Much luck!
