Very ambivalent attitude towards these cups.

these mugs. I usually buy Berry Plastics mugs from a local auto paint supplier who is private label with the local supplier's name on them. They are made in the USA. The bottom of Berry Cups is flat around the bottom ring of the cup. They produce a microphone with a cup sidewall thickness of 0.25" to 0.255" (using a Mitituyo 0.00005" / 0.001mm (422-330) digital microphone. THESE cups have small "feet" surrounding the Circumference of the bottom ring of the mug are distributed, which means that only about half of the bottom of the mug ring is touching the surface you are placing the mug on. If you have an uneven or sloping surface, you will have half the mug's contact area when full Contact the mug slips Wall thickness is about 25-30% less than a Berry mug, ranging from .0165 to .022, averaging .018-.019 in. The mug squeezes slightly from the sides, reducing the top lid pops out (if the lid is on). ) The only saving grace of these mugs is that the mug lids feel airtight, more so than the Berry version I usually use (at least until some materi al gets into the bezel). or glass), this may be important to you. Both cups have "PP5" or "PP05" printed on the bottom, indicating that they are made from the same material (polypropylene). But as said, the TCP cup is much thinner than the material. Although I'm still on the fence and just started using TCP cups last week, I probably won't be buying them again even though they're about half the price of Berry cups from my local retailer. . I'll post an update on my opinion after using it for a while.

Pros
  • Graduated sizes make mixing easy and precise. Multiple unit ratios are listed on the side of the mug (1 to 1) (2 to 1) (3 to 1) (4 to 1) (6 to 1) (8 to 1))
Cons
  • packaging is not pretty
