It works exactly as described, I plugged it into the USB port on my 2012 Honda Fit and it plays music from your phone via bluetooth, no extra cables needed. There's a significant delay between the phone and the actual audio coming out of your speakers, so keep that in mind. In addition, unfortunately, the sound quality drops noticeably. It could be Bluetooth or USB quality on the vehicle (I will check with a USB stick to compare and update the rating). The absolute worst thing about the device is the noise it makes when turning it on and plugging it in. Both sounds are played at maximum volume and are painful to hear. The real highlight is that the connection sound is copied from Windows (connected device noise) and cuts off with a loud squeak. I have to start the car with the radio off to avoid damaging my ears and speakers. Not a deal breaker but a disappointment. If it weren't for these noises, everything would be fine.
