The basic idea is good. It keeps your stuff up and out, away from your thighs. For certain activities this works good, like cycling. While other sports you wouldn't want your stuff thrust out there because it leaves you vulnerable. It's like a jock strap without the butt straps, or a material pouch to hold everything. Why only a 3 star rating you ask? They made the loop part that goes around your goods double reinforced. That part is actually two layers of elastic strap sewn together. Not only unnecessary, it makes it too firm. The dual layers take away too much of the give or stretch. The end result is its uncomfortable to wear and very hard to put on. It takes a tremendous of stretching to be able to get your stuff through the loop, usually requiring a smashing of things.Using a tread puller I removed one of the layers of elastic strap from the loop. This leaves it a single elastic strap, exactly like the waist band is made of. Very nice result. Just the right amount of stretch is kept on your stuff to keep things in place without being too tight. Also makes it easy to put on and take off. And since someone is going to ask: YES the single elastic strap around your boys does create a nice sensation that can be arousing. And that added tightness from the elastic can help to keep that arousal going.I hope the company that makes this reads my review and rethinks their design.Hey WildmanT, drop that dual layer strap and you've got a winner!
