When my set arrived I checked again. Bath towels have a reputation for being fluffy and thick, which can mean higher absorbency. I was skeptical. I washed the set exactly as the label says: cold/cold. The results speak for themselves and say that my assumption was wrong. I LOVE Vera Wang's towel set. Where should I start? The fact that they're elegantly crafted from hypoallergenic organic cotton is a good start. There are a large number of consumers looking for this particular thing. Including me. Some consumers have health problems and/or allergies. Detergent and texture are becoming an important issue. You meet these requirements. - Very well made, just the right size and perfect to keep them looking good for years, with easy washing instructions. - They do not cause thirst, gentle and comfortable on wet and dry skin. The loops are dense, short, even, lush. No annoying fringes, extra tags, etc. Buckle loops make drying easier by revitalizing skin without the hard rubbing that dries it out. Beautiful immediately after drying, with no annoying creases or excessive curling of the bound edges. They take up less space in the linen closet because they are thinner. My dryer thanked me when I tried to clean the lint filter. Thinner towels shed significantly less lint. The benefits keep coming. In summary, this premium towel set comes at a premium price, but I don't see anything to make me think it won't last much longer than the cheaper towels. I LOVE them and would recommend them to others looking for quality 100% organic cotton towels.
