Assembly instructions were pretty clear. Each of the studs is aligned with the sockets on the shelves. The instructions said that the wood fibers should run in the same direction on the top and bottom shelves. On the table I received, the screw holes were on the wrong side of the shelves. In order to align the studs with the receiver, two shelves had to fit at right angles to the wood structure. I've been trying to see if there's a way to change this, but I haven't been able to find a way to do it. This is not visible to the casual observer, but it's always frustrating when the instructions don't reflect the reality of the product. After assembly, the table is very durable and strong. Thanks to the adjustable legs on the corner posts, the table always stands level and does not wobble. The legs simply screw in or out to the desired length and stay where they are. If it weren't for the wood structure alignment issue, this would have been a five star rating.
