Review on 🔌 Rexing Dual Port Car Charger with Dual QC2.0 and 13ft Mini-USB Cable by Jimmy Franklin

Received this as part of a Rexing Dash Cam Connection Kit. The kit included both a USB cable and this outlet adapter. Rexing warns users that due to the draw of the dashcam itself, they cannot use an adapter, and this 2.1 amp adapter provides enough power for the dashcam. The adapter itself is ok, but a bit long and a bit heavy at the end. If the outlet you are using is vertical, meaning the adapter is inserted up and down, it will work fine. However, if the socket is horizontal, the adapter will be used horizontally, and on rough roads, potholes and other washboard other surface tends to shake the horizontal adapter so much that it may eventually detach and the DVR will turn off. This has happened to me and since the dash cam is not in my direct line of sight I ended up driving without it working and not knowing it was turned off. I have two dash cams and use one of the Rexing adapters in the car as it sits upright and works great, but in our second car it sits horizontally and I've replaced it with a short standard 2.1 amp adapter and it works great with a video recorder. Check your outlet to see if it's right for you.
