Review on Storkcraft Glider Ottoman Cherry Chenille by Nate Jenkins

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Extremely disappointed

I had high hopes for this chair based on other reviews but now I realize I should have spent a little more and gotten a better quality glider - if I only spent $30 would have -40 more I probably could have avoided anything wrong with him. First, this chair is NOT wise. It's definitely a mint - wouldn't bother me if there weren't other issues. It arrived in brand new packaging and didn't look refurbished at all but when I opened the plastic sealed cushions I noticed some very visible stains. Did someone drink Coca-Cola while packing? Rough. Admittedly, the assembly was very easy, and fortunately the appropriate screws, nuts and instructions arrived - however, one cannot take into account that the levers labeled "left" and "right" were mislabeled and I did the math had to from the drawing. After the chair was assembled I put the cushions on (after a thorough cleaning with Resolve to remove stains) only to find that one of the cushions that snapped didn't snap and I easily found out why - the male Latch end was completely broken before packing. Now I have to go to Jo-Ann Fabrics and buy a new set of fasteners to attach the armrest cushion to the chair. Serious? If it wasn't so expensive to return this damaged, filthy airframe I would. If you do decide to buy one, I can only hope yours doesn't arrive in the same condition as mine. It's comfortable and pretty if you don't mind the color off but need to remove and fix the latch and stains and poor detail marking really isn't worth the price of this item. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer directly. and they were very willing to fix the problems with the chair by sending new cushions and latches. They have been very helpful and at least if you buy this chair and it has flaws they are very responsive.
