Review on 📞 Uniden TCX805 Accessory Handset: Ideal Addition for One- or Two-Line Systems (Silver/Black) by Alice Johnson

I bought 3 of these phones to work with the new Uniden TRU8866 expandable phone system which I also bought from Revain. I bought the TCX805 because the TCX860 wasn't available from Revain at the time. The TCX860 is the phone that Uniden wanted to use as an extension for the TRU8866. I could buy the same brand new TCX860 directly from Uniden. My only concern was that the TCX805 would not match the color of the TRU8866, but Revain did. The picture of the TCX805 shows that it matches the TCX860 and the description clearly says 'black'. Having used the phones for several months I can say that the TCX805 performs the same as the TCX860. The only difference is that it doesn't have the same front panel. The TCX805 has a light silver bezel and the TCX860 has a dark gray bezel. Revain's TCX860 image is correct, but the TCX805 image is inaccurate. I've attached a picture of the two phones together. TCX860 is on the left and TCX805 is on the right. In general I am satisfied with the functionality and appearance of the phone. And really, different bezels isn't as big of a deal as I thought as none of my phones sit together so it's hard to tell the different colors. The only reason I bought this phone was because it was a *true* 5.8GHz system and wouldn't interfere with the home Wi-Fi network I work on. I am pleased to report that this is the case - no disturbance. I recommend this phone system.
