I had eye surgery 4.5 years ago so I could see birds. I've always been nearsighted, but as I've gotten older, my distance vision has deteriorated significantly. I found peeps online and bought a few pairs to experiment with styles and strengths. Reading glasses frames aren't as durable as the optical quality glasses you get with prescription lenses, but if I were to buy prescription trifocals they would cost $500 or more. The whistles are much more durable than the readers you buy at the grocery store or discount store. The slime line is my favorite style because they are small enough that I can wear them all the time since I can look at the frame to see it from a distance. I still have thin glasses that I bought 4.5 years ago. I worry that peepers will ditch this style now that big glasses are back in style. The only colors the Thinline currently comes in are red, blue, and tortoiseshell, but I still have lavender and green. I wish they would still offer them in other colors and black because I need a different strength than 4.5 years ago. Black has never existed and I would really like to have black.
