That's bold and good, heavy weight. I read the reviews and bought it even though many said it would shrink to the size of an ant man. I washed it in cold water and dried it in a HOT dryer because it's small and I needed to shrink! I usually wear a size small and this shirt blew me away. It shrunk a bit and I could have kept it if it hadn't been for 2 things: The material pills and rolls too much. Flannel will always do that, I agree. I find it excessive to cover squares of a lighter color with patches of a darker color. The killer of the deal for me was skill, or lack thereof. The seams were minimally disturbing, there were no reinforcements anywhere, compressed and not flattened. It gives me the confidence to return this beautiful shirt.
