That's why I ordered a 13 inch because I have a 13 inch laptop. I almost wish I'd picked the 15" just to have a little more room! This material is durable like canvas. It has absolutely ZERO stretch. I struggled to get the power cord in my pocket, as did the organizer, I need.I also use my laptop bag as a wallet so it was awkward to find a place to put my car keys as it makes the bag feel very bulky.With my laptop, power cord, flat glasses case (cloth), two handles, car keys , a journal no thicker than my laptop, this bag looks like it's about to burst at the seams. A stylized wallet is coming, so I'm hoping I can get it there too. Maybe I need to reorganize my bag or something But be aware if you plan to carry more than one laptop, including the charger, it may be worth going a size up to 15.
