Review on Maybelline New York Makeup The City Mini Eyeshadow Palette - Rooftop Bronzes: Neutral Eyeshadow, 0.14 oz by Leslie Cyrius

Everything is fine, but the silver hue let us down.

Pigment is fine, blending is good. There's a bit more sediment in the pan than other foods, so I apply it before wiping down my pastries to be on the safe side. The biggest drawback is the "silver shimmer". I was so excited. In the closed eye photo you can see what it looks like. I couldn't take it so I lightened it up a bit (it's in the other photos). saw it in the pot and my heart quickened. But before our eyes it becomes cloudy, dull gray. I've tried using a setting spray and concealer. He just didn't want to reach me. Maybe if I did gray gradient smoky eyes? But not with these other shades. Silver broke my heart but all other shades performed as expected. My drugstore palette is Elf's Nude Rose Gold and when I bought the Brunch Nudes palette I didn't even realize that most of the shades in it are in my Elf palette. But I like that the dark purple is matte. I checked. Side by side for my own curiosity and thoughts to share. Maybelline seemed a little more pigmented. I would say mixability is the same, maybe I prefer Elf. All in all I don't hate it. I want to play with it some more before deciding whether to recommend it to a friend. A trusted beauty guru highly recommends a bronze rooftop palette, so maybe that would be a better choice.
