At first I was satisfied with this product. Until I wash it. No, I didn't wash it in the dishwasher, no, I didn't "soak" it in dishwater. I take care of my things. If dirty (dust, etc.), wipe with a damp, soft cloth. When I had to clean the inside, I used hot soapy water and a soft cloth, removed the "pad", washed it separately, dried it and replaced it. After the 2nd or 3rd wash I noticed that the lid doesn't want to stay down. I took it apart and made sure the gasket was clean, dry and in place and tried again. Same result.
