Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

My first Mac. I took it to replace the old Vaio, bought back in 2022. A decent device that allowed me not to bother with everyday tasks: from surfing the net to working with texts, etc. The transition from Windows took about 2 weeks (while I was learning all the quick commands and "where everything is", "how to set it up") . Now I remember about "Windows" only in nightmares or in those rare moments when I want to play something .

Pros
  • - screen (God, after a laptop on Windows, it’s just a rainbow from the eyes. Even taking into account the fact that this one is 3 inches smaller .) - speed of work (even applications through Rosetta open quite quickly) - autonomy (I use 2-3 hours a day, the battery lasts for 4 days, I charge it once a week) - build quality (after this, you just don’t want to look at 90% of laptops on a different OS, especially if they are made of plastic) - sound quality (lol, not a joke. I would never have thought that a laptop could have such a good sound that even some bass can be heard, and not a stupid hiss from the mids and trebles) - willingness to work immediately "out of the box"! (honestly, I opened it and everything is ready - use it for its intended purpose. You don’t need to install any drivers or codecs) - The OS is very User Friendly and there will almost always be an opportunity to customize something for yourself - an ecosystem (here, perhaps, everything is clear. Just an example: it’s not that I would have lived in a cave all my life, but the ability to call and write SMS from a computer has become just an imbalanced reason for me to buy a Mac)
Cons
  • - very few ports (I miss the days when there was at least 1 USB purely for the mouse. I had to buy an adapter). Could add another "thunderbolt" to the right of the hull. - Big Sur is a strange OS, Catalina was better and not so buggy. This, of course, is not a drawback of the computer itself, but still. - there is no way to install some software because of "silicone"
