I would give 10 stars for quality and comfort if I could! Worth every penny. My 11 year old loves these shoes. She's a bit of a pea princess with shoes, and after trying almost every pair in the store, ONLY they've hit her comfort threshold. We bought her in two colors and she changed two pairs every day throughout the day. a year and they were still in good shape when she finally outgrew them. I've never had a pair of my kids' tennis shoes that lasted a whole school year and still looked decent! She loved them so much we bought them in a larger size for next school year! Another plus is that the style is so classic that they can be worn with anything. She bought gray and black, and this year she chose blue and peach and wears them every day. For reference, her feet are medium to narrow so I can't tell how they would be for a wider foot. The only negative thing I noticed was that the laces for children's shoes were too long and she was annoyed about it. Also, the white soles look dirty, but I don't think it's the shoes. Every white sole gets dirty, am I right?! I used Clorox wipes to clean them and they looked great again.
