These ring-shaped dampers make a difference, but a small one that's hard to quantify, especially in noisy environments. If you have trouble hearing the difference, then they probably aren't a major benefit to you. Included was a key puller, plastic case and rings in a small plastic bag. It was said there were 200 but I didn't count even though it was more than I needed. They fit easily on the stems of my keycaps and go deep into one of them. There was a difference, albeit insignificant, as mentioned earlier. They are specifically designed to reduce the sound at maximum keystroke, resulting in a clicking noise. The function is to reduce resonance and its impact by absorbing vibration from actuation. The keycap remover was a nice addition, especially since my last keycap remover didn't come with extended metal extensions and required a clever wrapping method. each keyboard in time. Overall the product was great, affordable and highly recommended.
