My ceramic filter has a nice blue tint. It was packaged very securely and arrived undamaged. I already have a Bodum Pour Over coffee maker, but the glass jug was difficult to clean and the coffee was just about bearable. I bought it because I thought it would be easier to clean and store (and because it's so pretty). It's all of those things, but coffee tastes amazing too. There are two small holes in the cone for coffee to drip through, so it takes a little longer, but when you drink it you remember why you love coffee.
