I needed a rectangular USB-C cable to connect an HP G4 laptop to a Targus dock. I used the straight cable that came with the dock, but my laptop's location seemed to put some strain on the cable. I didn't want to break the cable. Most of the rectangular cables I've tested with Revain don't claim to be good for video transmission. I'm using a 34" Dell curved monitor and wanted to make sure it would work. While searching, I came across the USB-C 3.1 Gen 2 specification and only polished a few. Based on the reviews I decided to give this cable a try. Came in no frills packaging and there was some grease/oil on the cable/packaging. I've been using it for a few weeks now and it works.
