I've spent a lot of time looking for 4K monitor options that offer 96W of power delivery over USB-C, which is enough for my 16-inch MacBook Pro. My choice is the expensive LG UltraFine 5K (LG 27MD5KL-B) and this is the UltraFine 4K (LG 27UP850-W). I first bought an UltraFine 5K but it came with dead pixels and I returned it with no exchange because it was out of stock. Ultimately, I'm glad it happened because I ended up ordering this (LG 27UP850-W) monitor and I'm very happy with it! I find that the image quality holds up pretty well compared to the LG 5K. I connect external peripherals (USB hard drive, USB phone port) through the monitor and effectively use the monitor as a docking station and they work great. If you use the free, open-source MonitorControl app for macOS, you can even control brightness and volume from your Mac!
