I use these as "parts" for many electronic projects that require a plug and/or socket. Trim them where necessary to skip the entry to the case and make sure there are enough pins for your connections. I find them much more reliable than trying to use panel mount plugs or power entry devices as they are hard to come by in good quality. And certainly not at these prices – not even with an electrically driven passage fitting. Combine this with a Power Delivery Hub like Auberins and you're in business. Easy to swap out if needed (and with Tripp Lite I never had to do that).
