I want to apologize for the weather in New England this February. There were no blizzards, the temperature didn't drop to zero, even the rain was disappointing, as if the rain itself confused how to fall in our typical coldest month. I was nowhere colder or wetter. Fortunately, for verification purposes, I can say that my gloved fingers stay cold for a period of time and warm up after moving for fifteen or twenty minutes. The lining of these gloves is soft and cushioning, which doesn't equate to an instant source of heat. Heat comes with time. The size is a combination that fits large and extra large sizes. My gloves are big. The gloves fit my hands like work gloves. I wore gloves for several days until one windy morning when I tightened the strap on one glove - just one - and put the other glove on. After a few seconds I felt like the airflow had stopped. It took a few minutes for my fingers to warm up, but compared to the other glove I could feel the difference. Loose gloves make it difficult to hold objects. The zip pocket is handy, but I have to take my glove off to use the zip. Not something I want to do in cold weather, but it's better than taking off my glove and digging through my pockets.
