I received one of these stars for a Hollywood style birthday party. I wanted to write the birthday girl's name on a star. I will say that the star itself is pretty cool. It's something like sticking to the window, but a small sticker. We put it on the front door and it looked great. He stayed all night and retired cleanly without leaving a trace. However, what shocked me about the star was that we struggled to find a pen to write with. It's pretty nifty stuff, but our house is armed with dozens of Sharpies. The felt-tip pens stuck together and nothing was written with them. What repels a Sharpie! It's a permanent marker! We also had a marker pen, but it wasn't much better. Finally, it was difficult to read the title we wrote on it. If you think you have a good permanent marker, definitely not a felt tip pen. I know if you buy them in bulk sometimes they will also send you a pen to use. The difficulty of sticking ink was the only downside of this fun star!
