Review on 👶 Crib Mattress Protector Pad by Margaux & May - Mom's Choice Award Winner for Stain Protection - Deluxe Bamboo Rayon - Fitted, Quilted - Noiseless, Dryer Friendly - Ideal for Baby, Infant & Toddler" by Whitney Bailey

Revainrating 5 out of 5

In general very satisfied. You can't imagine it better!

I bought this mattress topper and waterproof mattress topper for the crib (installed) - very soft, quilted, no vinyl, fits all standard size baby mattresses, no risk. 100% quality guarantee. at the same time put on my new cradle mattress (always use a blanket/pillow!). I chose them because they are economical and highly rated by Revain. I wanted to compare them and, if they were close together, keep both so I could always have a clean one on hand for an unexpected bed linen change in the middle of the night. Ultimately I decided to return the Happy Little Mill (HLM) cover and buy another from Margaux & May (M&M). If I had only bought the HLM cover I would have happily kept it. M&M was just one step up. The main reason I prefer M&M is the sound factor. I just bought a memory foam mattress partly to get rid of the plastic noise from his old box springs. I didn't want the mattress topper to bring back the noise I just eliminated. The M&M is almost completely silent when you drive it. The HLM was noticeably louder, though not by much. I also loved how soft the M&M terry top was. This gave him an extra sense of comfort. HLM has a simple fabric that is also nice to the touch but doesn't have the plush feel of M&M. Finally, none had a particular smell, and I didn't notice any plastic or chemical smell in the M&M after washing it (I washed it before using it). I haven't tried putting the HLM on the mattress (I've already concluded that it goes back) so I can't really compare it there, but I can say I was happy with the fit of the HLM M&M on my 5 inch foam bed. I washed it twice and used it for 6 weeks. so far and I'm happy with how it washes and how flat it lays on the bed. It's totally invisible through the sheet, as it should be. I have had no problems with my son waking up sweaty or overheated as sometimes happens when he sleeps on a waterproof mattress pad. Haven't had a chance to observe the water resistance yet, but I'll definitely update this review if it doesn't meet my expectations in that area.Update: 4 months into my review and I still love this protector. Still no problems (but no incidents yet to check the leak protection factor). Was this review helpful to you? ? If yes, please click the 'Yes' button below.
