All four screws rusted - horribly - not in my carrycot!

I hardly used it, I took it out of the water to dry after every bath. So why rust on all four screws? Is it healthy for a child to chew it, bathe it, touch it? I don't know, but it won't happen with my child. That gross fact aside, and before that happened, the toy was pretty cute and my kid loved it.

Pros

The texture of sea turtle skin on the top and limbs encourages the development of children's sense of touch.
